Ravens Roll in Doubleheader Sweep of Pratt

There's no place like home, and the Red Ravens were able to use the advantage to a doubleheader sweep of the Pratt Beavers.

The Lady Ravens move back into the win column with a 70-44 victory. Coffeyville outscored Pratt 27-12 in the first quarter, and never let the Beavers back within single digits.

Assistant Coach Zariah Sango says the team's depth was on full display in the win.

Norika Welch led the team with 20 points, while Kailyn Willis had nine off the bench as well.

Sango says Welch has all the ability to be a special player for this team.

The men have won eight of their past nine, beating Pratt 81-63. The team used a strong second half to open up a large lead and earn their 12th win of the season.

Assistant Coach Jordan Bailey says the team did a great job of staying patient.

Justin Taylor had a team high 14 points while Brian Griffith finished with 13 as well.

The Ravens will travel to Liberal this weekend for a doubleheader matchup with the Seward County Saints on Saturday afternoon. Bailey says it will take a full team effort to come back to Coffeyville with a win.

Coverage of Saturday's games begin at 1:45 p.m. CT on US 98.
