Neodesha started the 2025 portion of their season strong, racing to an 83-58 win over Sedan in the KGGF High School Basketball Game of the Week.

 

The game started with a back and forth opening quarter, before a late six point swing had the Blue Streaks up nine after one. Senior point guard Krewe Johnson took over in the second quarter, scoring 15 points and leading Neodesha to a 37 point quarter.

 

Sedan wouldn't go down without a fight, as senior Brycen Dickens had 15 points in the second half, and Jackson Dowell contributed 11 points as well. However, the duo of Johnson and senior Rylen Allen proved to be too much, as the two seniors combined for 41 points in the victory.

 

Neodesha has won three of their last four games, while Sedan will look to bounce back after losses to Caney and Neodesha. The KGGF High School Game of the Week will be at Fredonia on Friday night, when the Yellow Jackets host the Eureka Tornadoes.
