A frustrating season for the Miami Dolphins, which featured inconsistency, injuries, and barely missing the playoffs, received even more difficult news following their season finale.
Former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill was noticeably upset after the team's Week 18 loss to the New York Jets. Hill had one of the worst seasons of his career, finishing with less than 1,000 yards for the first time since the 2019 season.
A large part of the struggles stemmed from the injuries to both Tua Tagovailoa and former Kansas State quarterback Skyler Thompson. The Dolphins displayed a revolving door at the quarterback position for much of the season, resulting in a disappointing 8-9 finish.
Hill spoke to the media following the game, and made it clear he wants out of Miami.
Tyreek Hill is 30 years old, and still finished the season in the Top 25 in the league in both catches and receiving yards. In his career, he has 796 catches for more than 11,000 yards and 82 touchdowns.
