The Kansas Jayhawks will have a familiar face under center for the 2025 season.

 

Quarterback Jalon Daniels has agreed to a new deal to remain a Jayhawk, and play his final season of eligibility in Lawrence in 2025.

 

Daniels revealed the announcement on his social media, stating "I'm ready to lead the Kansas Jayhawks into the 2025 season and fully focused on becoming the best QB possible. I'm staying to finish what we've started, continue building, and to give back to the fans who've given us everything."

 

Daniels has nearly 7,000 passing yards and 45 passing touchdowns during his time at KU, both of those marks ranking second in school history.

 

The Jayhawks will look to bounce back from a disappointing 5-7 season in 2024, and continue the momentum from winning four of their final six games.
