It appears that the Kansas City Chiefs will take the field tomorrow with their QB1 leading the charge.
Following three days of practice, and treatment for a high ankle sprain suffered last weekend against the Browns, Patrick Mahomes is presumed to be available for the game against the Texans.
Head Coach Andy Reid says Mahomes is trending towards playing.
The Chiefs have a magic number of 2 to clinch home field advantage throughout the playoffs, but the Texans display one of the league's top defensive fronts, second in the NFL in sacks being led by stars Danielle Hunter and Will Anderson Jr.
ESPN Insider Stephen A Smith says he's not sure the Chiefs are making the right big picture decision.
