For the second time under Head Coach Drew Dallas, the Hutchinson Blue Dragons have reached the top of the mountain.

 

The Blue Dragons won the Division 1 NJCAA National Championship, rallying to defeat the Iowa Western Reivers 28-23 in Canyon, Texas.

 

The Dragons had to rally from an early two touchdown deficit, and outscored the Reivers 21-0 in the third quarter. Despite a late touchdown and blocked field goal from Iowa Western, the Hutch defense was able to get the stop they needed to win it all.

 

Dallas says this is an incredible reward for everyone in the building.

 

Hutchinson finishes the season 11-1, with their only loss coming to co-conference champion Butler in late October.
