A JUCO National Champion will be crowned tonight in Texas, and the Hutchinson Blue Dragons are representing the Jayhawk Conference in the game.

 

Hutchinson is 10-1 on the season, with their only loss coming to the Butler Grizzlies in late October. They will square off with the Iowa Western Reivers, who is looking to win their third consecutive national championship. Hutch beat Iowa Western 39-38 in the regular season.

 

Blue Dragon Head Coach Drew Dallas says this is the stage you want to get to.

 

Star quarterback Samari Collier returns from injury and is expected to start tonight. Running back Waymond Jordan Jr. recently was named the JUCO Weekly award winner, which goes to the nation's top junior college football player. Jordan says it's a reflection of the entire team's effort.

 

The Blue Dragons and Reivers kick off at 7:30 p.m. CT in Canyon, Texas, and the game can be watched on ESPNU.
