The Lady Nado make it three in a row and a 1-0 start in league play with a 53-42 win on the road at Pittsburg.
Steals and transition offensive were the keys to the game for Coffeyville as Erin Lopez lead the team with 21 points, with 14 points coming off Pittsburg Turnovers. After a cold start to the game, the Lady Nado settled in on both sides of the ball. Lopez would hit five straight shots, all off turnovers, to help Coffeyville hold a 25-21 lead at the half.
The Nado would extend their lead to double digits in the third, outscoring Pittsburg 15-9 in the quarter. The Dragons would start to grab some momentum in fourth courtesy of Mackenzie English, who finished with 26. A Kaylin Caron three off a great pass from her sister Taiylor would end the Dragon's run and help Coffeyville secure the victory.
The Lady Nado move to 3-2 on the year and are off until their next league matchup on January 7th against rival Independence.
