The Caney Valley Bullpups travel to Sedan to take on the Blue Devils in doubleheader basketball action tonight. 

 After a slow start against Galena, the girls stepped up the defense which led to easier baskets on the offensive side. Sarah Martinez had a double - double last week (21 points / 10 rebounds). Head coach Emily Washburn says the journey to 3-0 will be difficult against Sedan.

 The guys will be looking for their first win of the season. Coach Matt Washburn says he is proud of how his team responded in the second half against Galena, but he's looking for a full four quarters tonight. He says last year may be on the minds of the Blue Devils.
