The Kansas Jayhawks were able to bounce back at Allen Fieldhouse, taking control early and rolling to a double digit win over NC State.
KU began the game on a 10-0 run, led by senior transfer Zeke Mayo, who had a game high 26 points with five made three-point shots. The Jayhawks outplayed the Wolfpack on the perimeter the entire afternoon, and led by eight at the half.
It was a much needed performance for a team that had dropped consecutive games to Creighton and Missouri, and the Jayhawks improve to 8-2 on the season. It was the 20th straight nonconference home win for KU, and the team is a perfect 6-0 at Allen Fieldhouse this season.
KU will be back in action on Sunday, when they host the Brown University Bears out of the Ivy League.
