Ravens Return Home to Host Cloud County

The Red Ravens return home for the final two games before winter break, hosting the Cloud County Thunderbirds tonight at Nellis Hall.

The men's team enters the night 9-2 on the season, with an unbeaten 5-0 league record. The team is also expected to get a key piece back from injury tonight. Head Coach Jay Herkelman says freshman Trent Ruth is preparing to go.

Cloud County is 9-3 on the season on the men's side, with a 3-3 league record. Herkelman says the Thunderbirds do many things well.

The Lady Ravens were able to bounce back quickly from a road loss to Hutchinson, beating Garden City on the road just three days later. Head Coach Tony Turner says that was one of the biggest wins of the season.

Cloud County is led by 36th year coach Brett Erkenbrack, who has the team off to a 9-2 start this season. Turner says the Lady T-Birds are always well coached.

Coverage of Cloud County and Coffeyville begins tonight at 5 p.m. CT on US 98 and the Red Raven Sports Network.
