The Red Ravens wrapped a fantastic Saturday of athletics with a doubleheader sweep of the Colby Trojans on the basketball court.

 

The Lady Ravens reamin unbeaten, with a 7-0 record, after a 60-51 win over Colby. Coffeyville jumped out to a 12 point lead after the first quarter, and were able to stay in front after Colby battled back in the second and third quarters.

 

Aspen Clarkson led the team with 13 points, while Karys Washington finished with 12 points and eight rebounds.

 

The men were able to win the second game 56-50, and improve to 5-2 on the season, and 2-0 in conference play. Konstantin Popovic led the team with 15 points on five made 3-pointers, and Tyrell Smith added 12 points off the bench as well.

 

Coffeyville returns to Nellis Hall for a doubleheader with the Independence Pirates on Tuesday night, before the Thanksgiving holiday.
