The Red Ravens open conference play with a trip to Goodland to battle the Fort Hays Tech Tigers.

 

The Lady Ravens are looking for a 6-0 start to the season, after going unbeaten in non-conference play. The team won both matchups with Tech last season, including a 26 point win in Goodland.

 

Head Coach Tony Turner says, however, this is always one of the toughest road trips.

 

Coffeyville has had one of the top defenses in the conference this season, and are looking to put the pressure on the Tigers. Turner says the Ravens will look to beat them in transition.

 

On the men's side, Coffeyville enters conference play 3-2 with a pair of narrow losses to ranked opponents.

 

The team went 1-1 against Tech last season, with a win out in Goodland. Head Coach Jay Herekelman says this year's version of the Tigers are a bit of a mystery.

 

The Tigers do feature one of the top point guards in the conference in Chase Harris, who is averaging 23 points and five assists per game. Herkelman says he's always in attack mode.
