Chiefs Suffer First Loss

The dreams of an unbeaten season for the Kansas City Chiefs have come to an end, after suffering a 30-21 defeat to the Buffalo Bills.

Patrick Mahomes was kept in check, being held to 196 yards passing and throwing two interceptions. The Chiefs also struggled to run the ball, finishing the day with only 78 yards on the ground.

Mahomes says this is a good opportunity to regroup as a team.

Kansas City has won by just one possession in seven of their nine victories this season, struggling to pull away from teams as they have done the past two seasons. Mahomes says the team needs to improve in several areas, including his own play.

The Chiefs still hold the top seed in the AFC at 9-1 on the season, holding a half game lead on the Bills. The team will have a great opportunity to bounce back this week, traveling to Charlotte to take on the 3-7 Carolina Panthers.
