The Lady Ravens finished off an undefeated non-conference season with a 67-39 victory over the NEO Lady Norse last night.

 

Norika Welch had 14 points for the Ravens, while freshman Karliey Parker finished in double figures as well.

 

Coffeyville faced a tough road environment for the first time this season, and NEO battled to a three point halftime deficit. The Ravens used a 36-9 run to close out the game, and earn their fifth consecutive victory to open the season.

 

Head Coach Tony Turner says he's already enjoying going to work with this group.

 

Both Raven rosters have displayed impressive chemistry and teamwork in the early stages of the season. Turner says he and Coach Herkelman have kids that have bought in.

 

The men's team will host NEO at Nellis Hall on Saturday afternoon, while the Lady Ravens will take the court next for their conference opener against Fort Hays Tech Northwest next Thursday.
