For the third season in a row, the Caney Valley Bullpups will face the Council Grove Braves in the playoffs, deafeating them 16-3 in 2022, but falling last year 32-14.

 Layne Denny had four touchdown passes in last weeks game against Riverton. Coach Criss Davis says the entire offense has put in tremendous work to improve that aspect of their game.

 The Bullpups are 4-0 at home this year. Davis says having a supportive hometown crowd has been a big boost for the team.

 Davis calls winning the turnover battle the biggest key for the Pups to come away with a victory.
