Field Kindley falls to Fort Scott 22-6 on Senior Night. The Nado end the regular season 2-6.
Coffeyville would force a three and out for Fort Scott on their first drive of the game. The Nado offense would go on a methodical twelve play drive, that unfortunately would end at the one yard line on fourth and goal. The Tigers would then drive the length of the field for their first touchdown of the game. Coffeyville's defense would keep things close and head into the half down 6-0.
Fort Scott would add two more touchdowns in the second half pulling away 22-0. Axel Erne would connect with KeShawn Hayes for a 12-yard score to prevent the shutout. Aaron Tunstall ran five times for 53 yards but exited the game during the first drive and didn't return. Tunstall was one of four seniors to get injured during the game and Coach Deonta Wade hopes they can return for their week nine matchup.
The Nado will get another shot at Fort Scott this time on the road as they finished as the 13 seed and will take on the Tigers as the fourth seed.
