The Caney Valley Bullpups traveled to Galena in a battle of the Dogs and came away with a 46-12 victory.

 The rushing attack for the Bullpups was dominant against Galena's defense. Traxcyn Garton had fourteen carries for 224 yards and three touchdowns, while Logan Burnett added thirteen carries for 152 yards and three touchdowns.

 Once again, both the offensive and defensive lines played well, with the defense only giving up three yards rushing in the first half.

 Layne Denny was efficient from the QB position, with a couple of passes to Ben Matthews; one for a six-yard touchdown.

 Galena falls to 3-4 on the season. Their last regular season game will be at home against Baxter Springs.

 Caney improves to 5-2 on the season. They will take on Riverton at home Friday night.
