After allowing some time to pass following an ALDS series defeat to the New York Yankees, the Royals are ready to embrace next season.

 

Kansas City will be considered among the contenders in the AL Central Division, and will compete with Cleveland and Detroit for the top spot in the division.

 

General Manager J.J. Picolo says the team will continue to be agressive in pursuing players.

 

The expectations have been elevated for the boys in blue, with the playoffs a key goal for the 2025 group. First baseman Vinnie Pasquantino says he hopes this heartbreak can motivate the team moving forward.

 

Kansas City opens their 2025 season at home against the Guardians on March 27th.
