Red Raven football continues to climb in the national rankings.
The Red Ravens land No. 12 in the country in the Week 8 polls, up two spots from last week. CCC earned a road win over the Iowa Central Tritons on Saturday night, their second consecutive win.
Hutchinson remains the highest ranked KJCCC team, landing at No. 1 in the polls for the fifth consecutive week. It is the 41st straight poll the Blue Dragons have been ranked in the national Top 15.
Garden City moves up one spot to No. 5 in the nation, with their lone loss coming against Navarro in Week 1. Butler also moves up two spots following a win over Highland, with the Grizzlies now No. 11.
The Jayhawk conference is one of two conferences in the country to have five teams in the voting, with Dodge City also receiving votes. The top four teams in the KJCCC meet this week, with No. 1 Hutchinson traveling to No. 12 Coffeyville, and No. 5 Garden City heading to No. 11 Butler.
