Coffeyville earned their second consecutive win in a road battle with the Tritons of Iowa Central, 31-20.

 

Following a scoreless opening quarter, Coffeyville would score three times in the second quarter, opening up a 21-6 lead at the half. Tight end Brec Long had three touchdown receptions on the evening.

 

The Ravens would hold their lead in the second half, thanks in part to sacks from Fred Giles and Marquise Lane-Owens, as well as an intercpetion from cornerback Cyler Christmas.

 

CCC returns home for Homecoming week, where they will host the #1 Hutchinson Blue Dragons on Saturday afternoon. Coffeyville is the most recent Kansas school to defeat the Dragons in the regular season, doing so back in 2021.
