Hard work and dedication to the process payed off for the Erie Red Devils, who earned their first win of the 2024 season on Friday night against Southeast.
Erie has faced a gauntlet schedule in the first half of the season, facing strong programs in Caney, Humboldt, Jayhawk Linn, and Eureka. The team is also playing for a new head coach, with David Pitts the new man in charge of the program.
Pitts says he's proud of the effort his team has brought each day.
The Red Devils are looking to use the momentum from last week to finish the 2024 season strong, both on the field and in the locker room. Pitts says the team is working hard to build standards of success.
Erie takes on Uniontown on the road on Friday night, looking to win their second consecutive game.
