Royals Even Up ALDS

The Royals earned a massive road victory, outplaying the Yankees in New York in a 4-2 Game 2 win.

Kansas City trailed 1-0 early in the game, with Cole Ragans struggling to consistently find the strike zone. In the fourth inning, Salvador Perez and the KC offense started a four run rally.

Ragans labored through four innings before the bullpen entered and covered the final five frames, only allowing one run. Lucas Erceg picked up his third save of the postseason by slamming the door in the ninth inning.

Kansas City has also had success slowing down MVP frontrunner Aaron Judge, limiting him to just one hit through the first two games of the series. Manager Matt Quatraro says keeping Judge off balance has been a priority for the team.

The Royals return to Kauffman Stadium for Game 3, which features Seth Lugo against Clarke Schmidt. Coverage begins tomorrow night at 6:00 p.m. CT with first pitch at 6:08 on the Mighty 690, KGGF.
