Coffeyville falls on Homecoming Night with a 34-19 loss to Christ Prep Academy.

 

Christ Prep got things started with a long touchdown drive capped off by the three yard run by QB Justice Criniere.  A 44 yard field goal would extend the Patriots' lead to 10,  The Nado would get their first touchdown on a 56 yard touchdown run by Aaron Tunstall.  The Patriots would add another before half extending their lead to 17-7 at the break.

 

Coffeyville would get it to four on a 32 yard run by Tunstall.  After a failed two point conversion would keep it at 17-13, Christ Prep would score 14 unanswered to extend the lead to 34-13.  Tunstall would try to bring the Nado back with an 82 yard kick return touchdown, but the Nado would run out of time in their comeback attempt.

 

The Nado head back on the road to take on Labette County next Friday.
