Red Raven football returns home this weekend for another ranked matchup, welcoming the #10 Highland Scotties to town.
Coffeyville sits at 2-2 on the season, looking to snap a short skid following losses to Garden City and Iowa Western. Highland enters the matchup 4-1 on the year, with their lone loss against Dodge City in Week 4.
The Scotties have emerged as conference title contenders under head coach D.J. Mayo, who has taken the program from the bottom of the league to the national rankings. Raven Head Coach Nick Dobler says Mayo has built a winning culture.
Coffeyville played a stronger second half against the Reivers, scoring a pair of touchdowns led by quarterback Chris Arviso. Dobler says the team is eager to get back on track.
Coverage of Coffeyville and Highland begins on Saturday afternoon at 12:30 p.m., with kickoff at 1 on the home for Red Raven sports, US 98.
