Field Kindley improves to .500 with a big win over rival Independence 42-0.
The defense would get things started for the Nado as Aaron Tunstall would intercept Bulldogs QB Jace Dye on Indy's first drive and return it for a touchdown. Tunstall would strike again picking off Dye on Indy's second drive, returning his second interception for a touchdown. The Nado jumped out to a 16-0 lead without their offense touching the field. Coffeyville would strike again defensively this time it was Josh Shobe with the interception return for a touchdown. Shobe would add another touchdown on the offensive side of the ball with a 32-yard touchdown run giving the Nado a 30-0 lead at the half.
Coffeyville would control the clock in the second half as Tunstall would get thing going running the football, finishing with 14 carries for 125 yards. The Nado would add two more touchdowns in the second half. The first by Trenton Akins who capped off a 52-yard run with a two yard touchdown. Axel Erne would get involved in the scoring finding De'Ontay Gallindo for a 17-yard touchdown his first of the season.
The Nado are now 2-2 on the season and 1-1 in SEK League play. They comeback home for a homecoming matchup with Christ Prep Academy on Friday.
