Basketball season is just around the corner in Coffeyville, with the Lady Ravens preparing for their first scrimmages.

 

Coffeyville is hungry to advance further in the Region VI tournament this season, after falling to Barton in the quarterfinals last season.

 

Head coach Tony Turner says his group has been improving quickly.

 

The Lady Ravens host the annual Jamboree next weekend, with numerous schools coming to town to square off in exhibition play. Turner says he's eager to see how his team stacks up in game action.

 

The Lady Ravens open their season at home with Connors State on November 1st.
