A disappointing first month of the season continues for the Kansas Jayhawks, dropping their third straight game.

 

KU fell short to West Virginia 32-28 in the conference opener, despite leading the game with less than four minutes left. The Jayhawks have fallen to Illinois and UNLV as well this month.

 

Head coach Lance Leipold says the team is frustrated, but hopeful.

 

Numerous conference championship contenders have already fallen thus far in the Big 12, with Kansas State, Oklahoma State, and Texas Tech all suffering losses as well.

 

KU looks to get back on track this weekend, welcoming the TCU Horned Frogs to town.
