Field Kindley is back on the road, still looking for its first win of the season, as it travels to Emporia.
The Nado are coming off a 34-7 loss against league-rival Chanute. Head Coach Deonta Wade says that despite the 0-2 start, some guys have stepped up for the team.
The Spartans are a team Coach Wade hasn't faced in his previous four seasons as head coach. He says they are a 5A school with a roster almost twice the size of the Nado.
Emporia is also looking for their first win this season with a week 1 loss to Pittsburg, 56-13, and a loss last week to Wichita West, 40-12.
