The Kansas City Chiefs will be attempting to replace Isiah Pacheco with a familiar face.
Former Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt has agreed to a one year deal to return to the team, and will report to the practice squad to start.
Hunt was selected in the third round of the 2017 NFL draft, and led the league in rushing in his rookie season. He was released the following year after a video of him kicking a woman went viral.
Chiefs coach Andy Reid says Hunt has matured and grown from that incident.
Hunt has spent the past five seasons playing for the Cleveland Browns. He will team up with Carson Steele and Samaje Perine to lead the KC backfield until Pacheco's return.
