Independence High School will host Fort Scott in their home opener in their Week Three matchup with the Tigers. The Bulldogs start the season 0-2 with losses to Columbus and Mulvane.
Head Coach Kendall Fiscus says they've started both games well, but they still have to put together a full four-quarter performance. Not only is it IHS's home opener, but it is also Homecoming Night. Coach Fiscus says it's a great night to get fans in the stands to support the team.
Fort Scoot is 2-0 heading into this Week Three matchup, with wins over Poala and Parsons. This is both teams' first league game of the season.
