A Red Raven football player has received conference honors after tying a school record.
Kicker Roan McCarthy was named KJCCC Special Teams Player of the Week, following a performance in which he went 3-3 on field goals, and 4-4 on extra points, in a 37-19 win over Cisco.
McCarthy also tied the Coffeyville record with a 57-yard field goal in the third quarter, which equals the kick made by Forrest Taylor in 2022.
McCarthy and the Ravens are 2-0 on the season, and welcome Garden City to Veterans Memorial Stadium on Saturday night.
