While it may be a few more months until the Red Ravens take the court for the regular season, the team is on campus practicing, and impressing their head coach.

 

The 2024-25 edition of the Ravens have been practicing daily for three weeks, building chemistry and showing impressive size, speed, and athleticism. Head coach Jay Herkelman says the team has a lot of talent across the board.

 

One of the key returners for CCC is sophomore guard Brian Griffith, who was injured in a summer workout. Herkelman says that Griffith is progressing well, and back on the floor.

 

The Red Ravens play three weekends of scrimmages in October, before opening the regular season against a talented Moberly Area team in Missouri on November 1st.
