High school football previews continue on KGGF with a look at the Fredonia Yellow Jackets, who open their season later this week.

 

Fredonia went 4-5 last season, but found a groove late in the season, winning each of their last two games. They will hope that momentum can continue into the 2024 campaign.

 

Head coach Marc Svaty says there is plenty of experience for the Yellow Jackets on both sides of the ball.

 

Fredonia has the ability to be dynamic on both sides of the ball, mixing in the rush and passing attack on offense, and having strong run defense and pass rush on defense. Svaty says the team has an aggressive gameplan to compete this year.

 

The Yellow Jackets open the season on Friday night at home against the Southeast Lancers at 7 p.m.
