College football season is back in the Sunflower State, with the Kansas Jayhawks kicking off their 2024 season against Lindenwood.

 

The Jayhawks open the season ranked No. 22 in the nation, and are considered one of the contenders for the Big 12 Conference championship. Head Coach Lance Leipold enters his fourth season at the helm of the program, looking to lead his group to the College Football Playoff.

 

Quarterback Jalon Daniels is also back and healthy for the team. Leipold says it's a great feeling to watch the QB ready to go.

 

Daniels missed ten games last season with a back injury, and has missed more than a dozen games the past two seasons. Leipold says the journey for Daniels to return has been a special one.
