We are inside of one week from the first athletic event at Nellis Hall in 2024, and Red Raven volleyball is eager to kick off their campaign.

 

The Ravens begin the season at home against Oklahoma Wesleyan JV, with an opportunity to earn a home victory to begin the tenure of head coach Kandi Midgett.

 

Sophomore Ashlyn Nelson says the leadership group has made an emphasis on being available for the newcomers.

 

Returning at right side hitter is sophomore Daetyn Bogle, a Wichita product. She says the team is already preparing for the speed and skill of the Jayhawk conference.

 

CCC has shown a blend of skill and athleticism thus far in fall practice. Sophomore Nadazia Simien says the group is ready to compete.

 

The Lady Raven home opener begins at 6 p.m. on Monday, and will be streamed on the Red Raven Sports Network.
