The Royals are flying high after a dominant weekend in Cincinnati.
Kansas City outscored the Reds 28-3 in a three game massacre, improving their record to 69-55 on the season. Manager Matt Quatraro says it was a complete performance.
The Royals found success on the mound without starts from Seth Lugo or Cole Ragans. Quatraro says Brady Singer was the x-factor in the Sunday victory.
The KC bullpen has also found stablility in recent weeks, locking down crucial wins in a playoff push. Trade deadline acquisition Lucas Erceg has not allowed a run in his first eight games with the team. Quatraro says Erceg has been dominant.
Kansas City returns to Kauffman Stadium tonight to battle the Los Angeles Angels, with coverage beginning at 6:30 tonight on the Mighty 690, KGGF.
