Former Wildcat QB Named Starter at Ohio State

 

A former Kansas State signal caller has been named the starter for one of the nation's top teams.

 

Will Howard will be under center for the Ohio State Buckeyes when they open the season against Akron on August 31st.

 

Buckeye Head Coach Ryan Day says Howard has taken the job and run with it.

 

Howard holds the Kansas State record with 48 career touchdown passes, and accounted for 67 total scores in his Wildcat career.

 

He started 28 games at KSU, and helped the Wildcats win the 2022 Big 12 Conference championship.
