The preseason hype surrounding the Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas State Wildcats has reached the national level.

 

Both teams are ranked in the preseason AP Top 25, which was released yesterday. The Wildcats enter the season ranked #18, while the Jayhawks are not far behind at #22.

 

Additionally in the Big 12, Utah enters the season at #12, Oklahoma State slots in at #17, and Arizona makes their conference debut at #21.

 

#1 Georgia, #2 Ohio State, #3 Oregon, #4 Texas, #5 Alabama, #6 Ole Miss, #7 Notre Dame, #8 Penn State, #9 Michigan, and #10 Florida State make up the preseason Top 10.

 

Kansas State kicks off on August 29th against Southeast Missouri, while Kansas opens the season against Lindenwood on August 31st.
