One of the best kickers in the NFL is staying in Kansas City on a record breaking contract.
Harrison Butker has agreed to a four year extension worth more than $25 million, which is the largest contract ever given to a kicker at more than $6.4 million per year.
ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter breaks down the details of the extension.
The new contract keeps Butker with the Chiefs through 2028. He finished last season 33-of-35 on field goals, and was a perfect 6-of-6 from beyond 50 yards.
Butker is widely considered one of the clutchest kickers in NFL history, kicking tying or winning field goals against the Bengals, 49ers, and Bills. His career 89.1% conversation rate is second best in league history, only behind Baltimore's Justin Tucker.
