KGGF's coverage of KJCCC football continues with the Garden City Broncbusters, projected to finish second in the preseason rankings.
Garden City is led by first year head coach Kiyoshi Harris, following a 5-6 record last season. Harris says the coaching staff was active early in recruiting.
Harris was the KJCCC Coach of the Year in 2019, while leading the Independence Pirates. He says the Broncbusters will be relying heavily on their offensive line.
Another goal for the Broncbusters was to add speed to the skill position players. Harris says the team has a few exciting options at receiver, including an Oklahoma high school star.
Garden City has the #3 ranked transfer portal class in the NJCAA according to Athlinkd.net, only behind Coffeyville in the KJCCC. The Broncbusters open the season on August 31st against Navarro.
