Royals Win third Straight; Chi-Sox Extend Record Breaking Losing Streak

 

 Freddy Fermin had four hits, including a two-run home run, the Kansas City Royals soundly defeated the White Sox 10-3 on Wednesday, extending Chicago’s franchise-record losing streak to 17 games.

 Vinnie Pasquantino added a two-run home run and had three RBI. Salvador Perez had three hits and drove in two runs in his 1,500th career game. Bobby Witt Jr extended his hitting streak to 13 games with two infield singles. He also walked twice, scored three runs and stole his 24th base. Brady Singer improved to 8-6. He allowed three runs on six hits over seven innings in his third straight win, retiring 17 of his last 19 hitters.

 Kansas City is 60-49. Up next, the Detroit Tigers. Seth Lugo, who is 12-5 with a 2.66 ERA faces Keider Montero, who is 1-4 with a 6.38 ERA. We'll join the game in progress at 6:00 p.m. The mighty 690 KGGF.
