Canada Soccer Coach Removed from Olympics

The 2024 Olympics begin this weekend in Paris, but the drama began a few days early.

Canada women's national soccer team head coach Bev Priestman has been removed from the team, over a scandal involving the use of drones to spy on practices of opposing teams.

Former USA soccer star Ali Krieger says this puts a dark cloud over the sport before one of the biggest events in the world.

Canada opened the Olympic tournament with a 2-1 win over New Zealand yesterday. The team is ranked 8th in the world, behind teams such as Spain, France, England, Germany, and the USA.
