A former Kansas State football coach is heading to a conference rival.

 

Sean Snyder, the son of legendary Kansas State football coach Bill Snyder, has agreed to a deal to join the Oklahoma State coaching staff.

 

Snyder most recently served as a special assistant at Kansas under head coach Lance Leipold. He coached on the Wildcat coaching staff for 25 years from 1994 to 2019, before departing for USC and later Illinois.

 

Snyder played for his father at Kansas State from 1990 until 1992, and is also the founder and owner of a private kicking business, Snyder Kicking.

 

Synder will serve as the punting and kicking coach for Cowboys head coach Mike Gundy.
