Football season in Southeast Kansas is another week closer, and the Red Ravens are motivated to bounce back in 2024.
The team recently concluded summer workouts with mostly newcomers, after the gauntlet of spring practice with the roster's returning players.
Head coach Nick Dobler says the next few weeks are an opportunity to reset.
Players focused on building good habits during the summer, aiming to maximize their physical performance on the field. Dobler says the expectation is for the players to continue working.
The Ravens had a frustrating 3-7 season in 2023, losing by nine points or fewer in six of the seven losses. Dobler says many of the players are taking last season personally.
Fall camp begins on August 3rd.
