Kansas State football has landed the highest ranked recruit in program history.
Five-star tight end Linkon Cure committed to the Wildcats yesterday, choosing Manhattan over Kansas, Oregon, and Texas A&M. Cure says the Wildcats have been a part of his life from an early age.
Cure took official visits to all four finalist schools. He says he took time to reflect while he was in Manhattan.
Cure is rated as the No. 2 high school tight end in the country, and is the first five-star recruit from the state of Kansas in over a decade. He is a senior at Goodland High School, standing 6-foot-6 and weighing 210 pounds.
He says he always knew the Wildcats felt like home.
Cure becomes the first five-star to ever commit to the Wildcats, and will be a key part of Chris Klieman's offense immediately when he steps on campus.
