Kansas State women's basketball has ensured their head coach will be sticking around.
Head coach Jeff Mittie has agreed to a five year extension that runs through the 2028-29 season. Mittie has led the Lady Wildcats to five NCAA Tournament appearances and eight overall postseason appearances in his ten seasons leading the program.
Mittie has won 190 games in his time in Manhattan, just 10 victories away from becoming the third coach in program history to reach the 200-win milestone.
There has been plenty of individual player success under Mittie as well, with 25 All-Big 12 selecions, six Big 12 All-Defensive Team players, five All-Freshman team honorees, and one AP All-American.
The Wildcats are primed for success in the 2024-25 season, with the return of 10 letter winners and four starters from last season's team. The team will be led by All-American center Ayoka Lee, First Team All-Conference guard Serena Sundell, and seniors Brylee Glenn and Jaelyn Glenn.
