The Kansas Jayhawks landed a big-name recruit over the weekend, with a tie to the Kansas City Chiefs coaching staff.
Blue Valley West quarterback and wide receiver Tate Nagy announced his intent to continue his football career in Lawrence. Nagy is the son of former Chicago Bears head coach, and current Chiefs offensive coordinator, Matt Nagy.
Nagy is primarily a quarterback at the high school level, but is expected to transition to a full-time wide receiver when he arrives to KU. He is the 14th commit for the Jayhawks in the Class of 2025.
Nagy made an official visit to Lawrence over the weekend, making his commitment nearly immediately after the visit. He chooses KU over other D1 offers from Kentucky and Ball State.
