Top Transfer Target Commits to Wildcats

Jerome Tang and the Kansas State Wildcats got great news to end the week, with the top transfer portal player remaining committing to Manhattan.

Coleman Hawkins will spend his senior season in the KSU purple, following a visit last weekend. Field of 68 Podcast's Jeff Goodman says the Wildcats made sense for Hawkins from the beginning.

The Wildcats have been active in the portal all offseason, adding versatile guards Dug McDaniel, CJ Jones, and Brendan Hausen, as well forwards Achor Achor, Ugonna Onyenso, and Baye Fall.

Goodman says Hawkins brings flexibility on both sides of the ball for Jerome Tang.

Kansas State was considered a team on the fringe of the Top 25, and this move should catapult the Wildcats into the preseason rankings.
