The Barnsdall Panthers football team are hoping to move forward following a difficult spring.
The team had their spring practices halted when a strong tornado ripped through town just over a month ago. Head Coach Kylee Sweeney says his team was active in the cleanup efforts.
The Panthers will be moving up to 11-man football this fall, following reclassifications across the state. Sweeney says the transition to 11-man will take some tweaks.
Barnsdall is participating in the summer passing league in Pawhuska, hoping to get as many reps as possible in preparation of the season. The Pawhuska passing league is each Tuesday throughout the summer at 6 p.m., and is open to the public.
